Daybreak provides scientific and strategic advice on artificial intelligence in healthcare and medical imaging. Daybreak also develops software solutions leveraging advanced machine learning and deep learning based on the latest developments. Daybreak was founded by Dr. Rashindra Manniesing. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Delft University of Technology) and a PhD in Machine Learning in Medical Imaging (Utrecht University), and has over 15 years of professional experience in the radiology departments of three major Dutch academic hospitals. Dr. Manniesing has established himself as an internationally recognized expert in neurovascular imaging with over 70 publications in top international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is passionate about collaborating with ambitious colleagues to improve healthcare through advancing technology. He is creative, results-oriented and able to balance attention to detail with a broad strategic vision.
